Here’s how to quickly.. ..like, really quickly.. ..identify your site version.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the panel.

Note: If you have multiple Squarespace sites, you'll find a grid displaying them all upon opening the Pages panel. Simply select the site you're interested in, scroll to the bottom of the page, and locate the version number at the bottom left corner.

Reasons to know your Squarespace version

  • If your site was designed by someone else, knowing the version makes it easier to use Squarespace Help Centre guides effectively.

  • Version 7.0 users have the option to upgrade to 7.1, with some considerations.

  • Researching a template switch may require knowledge of your Squarespace version.

  • Understanding your version can help address discrepancies in features between your site and others.
